Previously this post had been comprised of some doubts I had about www.woofersetc.com. At the time of placing my order I did have genuine concerns;However, two things completely changed my mind. First, the BBB notified woofersetc.com that they had received a non-official complaint. I had not even submitted a formal review. Anyway, someone from the store took the time to call me earlier this afternoon (3PM on a Sunday two days before Christmas!) to address any of the concerns I had (they did not even request that I change this post). That act alone was a pretty good gesture. Many of the concerns I had were based on information from e-mail communication with the store and information from other sources. Unfortunately I had not just picked up the phone and called when I became concerned, because when I finally talked via phone to someone at the store today I was able to tell they were not out to screw anyone.
There are two types of online audio retail stores: First, the kind that is just out to make some money at the cost of the manufacturer and the consumer alike; Second, the type that is genuinely trying to provide products at the best possible prices and serve customers well. I am fairly confident that woofersetc falls into the second category.
If anyone has doubts about them, dont e-mail, just pick up the phone and call them.
