I was recently looking for a moving company and came across Silicon Valley Moving and Storage. From what I read, they looked like a large, well-established and reputable company. It was a local move and all my research kept coming back to them. My initial contact with them was professional and informative. A friend recommended I check Yelp. When I did, I saw some not-so-glowing reviews. I continued to look for movers but did not like the responses I was getting, rude people, no answer, no returned calls, bad information, etc. I decided to give Silicon Valley Moving and storage another call. Again, they were profession and informative. I mentioned the Yelp reviews and they told me about all their letter of recommendations and to check with the BBB as they had a 5-star rating. They were right! They did. The reviews were glowing. So I plan on adding to that.
Silicon Valley Moving and Storage is one of the most professional companies I have had the pleasure of doing business with. They showed up on time, the three employees were in company uniforms, introduced themselves, explained the process, did a walk through before starting and did an outstanding job. They did not waste time and run up the clock but took the time to handle my possessions with care. They asked about the new location and if there was anything I wanted "in first or last" or if there were any boxes that needed special care or attention. I was thoroughly impressed with them. I recommended them to a friend who used them a few days later and was just as impressed as I was.
The unloading went just as smoothly too. I went from a single family home to a two-story townhouse and not a scratch on the hardwood floors or walls. Before they left, they asked if there was anything I needed moved to another room are any furniture repositioned.
All-in-all, an outstanding company!
