Roku does not honor its warranty. I purchased a Roku HD Player on June 3 from Amazon.com. The unit stopped streaming movies. I contacted the company's technical support department. The unit was deemed defective and I was issued a return authorization number. The unit was insured and shipped via UPS on December 23, and it was received and signed for by a Roku employee on January 3. It is now January 8. Roku's customer service center told me that my tracking number did not exist in the UPS system. While speaking to the representative, I entered my tracking number and printed a copy of the Proof of Delivery. I shared this information with the Roku rep. He then told me a replacement would be shipped. I called the next day, and I was again told that the unit had not been received. I have read numerous complaints on Roku on other complaint boards from consumers who have had the exact same problem. I still do not have a replacement unit. This company lies.
