I purchased a Havanese puppy back in 2005. She had a little cough when I brought her home, which quickly got much worse. To make a very long story short, my beautiful puppy almost died. I found out she had kennel cough when I brought her home, which then went into pneumonia. Between the emergency clinic and vet, she was in the hospital for 4 days. She received IV antibiotics and breathing treatments. Precious Puppy did eventually reimburse me for all medical expenses, which were in excess of $2,000.
I was told that my sweet little Havanese pure bred pup came all the way from Hungary, because of the strong line of show dogs in the family. I was curious when I received my certificate why The Hunte Corporation was listed at the bottom in very small letters. After researching The Hunte Corporation on the Internet, I found they are the LARGEST puppy mill in the U.S. I was furious, but what was I going to do? Certainly not return my pup who I had grown very attached to.
My dog is now 3 years old. She has breathing problems and throws up at least twice a week. I love her with all my heart, but wanted to caution you before buying a puppy from Precious Puppy. Don't let the puppies in the baby cribs fool you!!!
