I was very dissatisfied with the job PaintForce did on staining and painting a newly constructed screened porch at my house. I specified a translucent oil based stain for the new wood on the porch. Contrary to the manufacturer's website and instructions on the cans of stain, they applied two coats instead of just one. The porch now looks like it was either painted or finished with a solid pigment stain.
The head painter told me the porch was finished sufficiently for the screen to be installed. The contractors who were to install the screen came out and told me that they couldn't install it because the painter had missed a lot of areas that needed to be finished before the screen could be installed.
I complained to the salesman and told him that I was not satisfied and very unhappy with the job. He told me there was nothing they could do. He offered to have the same painter come back and strip the stain off the porch floor for an ADDITIONAL fee. I declined. The painter had already done an unsatisfactory job and I was not going to pay any more for them to fix their mistakes.
