I have signed up with this company, which in your records is named Outsourceit, but I know it as NetAudioAds (at least that's their signature and address I've got in emails from them) about a week ago.
In short, this company pretends to pay web site owners for inserting a piece of code into their web pages. The code is supposed to play audio ads when someone visits those pages and the web site owner is paid for every visit…
The incentive was (and still is)"100% conversion rate on your website traffic" and in the sign up form I had to check a box next to a line stating "I understand that paid advertising will begin in February, 2008".
Now I've signed up in March being advice to do so by a friend who signed up in January 2008. Since February 1st, accordingly to NetAudioAds’ stats, he had 16986 hits on the pages where the code was installed and in his down-line 2701 hits (a total of 19687). For all these hits, he had 25 ads plaid and in his down-line 7, for an amount of $0.09.
Since then, I have searched NetAudioAds forums and I find out that the program is NOT WORKING. After almost two months from the supposed launch, members are still waiting for audits and various tests to be done.
More important, the incentive used to bring in new members (the 100% conversion rate on ones website traffic) is FALSE and that is acknowledged by the very CTO of the company, Larry Host. Still, their promotional material keeps stating a 100% traffic conversion.
Also I have noticed that members who raised concerns about the system and about the constant delays in launching were banned from the forums and threatened with account cancellation.
In conclusion, I don’t think this is a scam, since I’ve not been asked to pay anything to join the program, but I’m afraid that this system is never going to deliver what it is supposed to deliver.
It’s just another waste of time.
