I cannot say enough good things about a recent experience with Michael Kennedy Painting. I needed a painting contractor to prep and treat the two large decks on my house and those of my two adjacent neighbors. I interviewed several contractors and decided on Michael because he clearly demonstrated during our interview that he not only had the experience and therefore the knowledge of how to do the job right, but that he would be approachable throughout the entire process if I were dissatisfied in any way. Our decks are five years old and made of mostly pressure treated lumber. I knew it would be difficult to make them look attractive again, but Michael managed to do just that with a combination of great prep work and the selection of a superior product to preserve them. The decks turned out beautifully, almost looking like teakwood. Mike has nearly thirty years of experience in the business and this has made him familiar with what to do and how to get the best results. My immediate neighbor and I also had Michael custom mix a product to deal with some problematic cedar shakes on the fronts of our houses. They had developed dark stains along the roofline and they looked dreadful. Michael came up with a mixture that successfully disguised all the stains without covering the grain of the wood completely. Mike's staff were very skilled, courteous and hard working. I love the work they did for us and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this firm.
