We saw a bedroom set in their store on 10/15/11. The salesman named Ben offered us a good deal and told us the bedroom set will be ready in one week. While he offered my husband to lay down on the bed, my husband accidentally touched the side rail and it bent (it was actually broken). Ben assured us the our set will be all intact because it will be new (special order). One week later, we called to get a pick up time. After several excuses and reasons why they don't have the set yet, they called my husband back and said the set will be ready for pick up after 6 PM. When we picked up the furniture, all pieces were wrapped in plastics and it was already after dusk. This is our first time picking up purchased furniture so we didn't think anything of it. When we came home and unwrap the plastics and tried to assemble the bed, the same rail on the same side was broken! Upon careful inspection, we discovered for scratches and dent on all of the pieces. We then realized they sold us the floor model! We returned to the store at 9 AM the day after and low and behold, the area where the model used to be was then empty! We confronted all of the salesmen and store manager in the store about this deception, they all lied to us and said it was just a coincidence that the floor model was gone. They didn't know about our "accidentally experience" with the broken side flap with the salesman (Ben) originally. We demanded our money back and told them to pick up the broken furniture; they refused to do neither. They even threatened to call the police if we didn't leave their store. We got our credit back from Discover when we called and filed a dispute on the same date. A month later on 11/15/11, they claimed to Discover that they were working with us and that the problem was resolved. The truth was they didn't even attempt to make a phone call to us; refused to respond to our certified letters and continued to lie about what happened. I refused to pay this company and am still in the middle of disputing. They are so deceptive and dishonest that I will never deal with them again. I ran a multi-million dollar organization and I refused to deal with merchants with no ethics and integrity. I want everyone to know about their deception so you don't spend your hard earn dollars at their store!
