This dentist is the traditional bate a switch dentist. I had a delta dental hmo plan which they excepted when I signed up with them. The fee schedule in my covered benefits plan book spells out what is going to be my cost. a crown is $60.00 porcelain fused to noble metal and amalgam fillings at no cost. Now mind you when the dentist excepts this type of plan they have to abide by all the components of the plan. The dentist said we don't do amalgam fillings in this office in fact we don't even keep the silver in the office. Also we can't do a crown for $60.00 dollars and of course they recommended a all porcelain crown or captec for $700.00 each. I also got a cleaning "deep cleaning" if I purchased the $75.00 antibacterial wash which is good until I eat my first meal after my cleaning. I would not recommend dentist to anyone. The dentist does the exam and comes up with a treatment plan and then another person talks to you about what your plan covers and doesn't its like buying a care. And with treatment plans make sure the plan references your plans pay codes another way for them to get more money. Because they didn't like what I had to say they refered my family and me out to another dentist which delta dental says they can do.If that isn't plain bad bussiness sense. Good Luck
