iBuyer That Appears Interesting BUT is Totally Unresponsive
|
I contacted Highest Cash Offer two weeks ago and they have yet to respond. By coincidence on the day I submitted my request I did receive a call from a local investment group who I thought might be connected with them. However, in the end it turned out it was just a coincidence, and they had no connection at all.
So after about a week no messages either email or phone calls, I contacted this company again and was told that I should have been contacted by a certain individual. The gentleman I spoke to, named Justin, then said he would contact his boss to find out what happened. After several more days of no response I contacted them again and spoke to Justin and he tried to tell me they had tried to contact me and when I said I'd received no messages or emails he then implied that I had a problem, and it was my fault that I hadn't received any contact. As it was clear that he was trying to fob me off, I gave up for the time being.
After being encouraged by a realtor friend to try one more time, I called again and the only person I could get through to was this chap Justin. He once again tried to suggest that the problem of no contact was mine because they had tried, and when I asked him how, he implied that they had made phone calls and left messages. When I reiterated that I received no messages whatsoever and no emails, he essentially said he could not help me.
So in summary, this was a complete waste of time and this company appears to be quite unreliable and unresponsive. I suspect that my property price point was too high for them and my home is in very good condition and doesn't need a lot of work. And therefore they would not make much money on on any offer they gave me. But I don't know why they wouldn't just tell me this!
